The California Department of Education (CDE) must identify schools for improvement efforts in an accountability model that is based on continuous improvement. CDE determines school identifications annually based on the California School Dashboard (visit caschooldashboard.org). Schools can be identified for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Additional Targeted Support and Improvement (ATSI) and Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI). This newly-released list does not go into effect until the 2026-27 school year, and does not affect currently identified schools for 2025-26.
